Overview
The rugged massif of Waterberg towers majestically over a vast, sunlit meadow at the end of an elongated valley. This is the site of Waterberg Wilderness Lodge, with red sandstone chalets scattered idyllically in a very old garden. Here you find many a spot which beckons you to linger and let your mind wander. Like the open pavilion next to the bricked-in basin of spring water where giant bamboo casts its cooling shade.
Waterberg Wilderness Lodge consists of nine spacious rooms, including two family units. Each of them has its private shower/WC, lounge area and roofed veranda or terrace.
Before you set off on your afternoon activities we get together in the tea garden for a cup and some cake.
Bookworms can retire to our small library where a fire will be lit on chilly days. There are also two spring water swimming pools with sunbathing lawn and pavilion at your disposal.
After sunset we meet at the campfire or at the fireplace in the bar to settle down for the evening. Fresh dishes, typical for the country, are served by our farm cuisine for dinner.
